This week, we had great experiences with SailMaine for our students in Kineo! Half the team went sailing and the other half at King did tye-dying and team-building nautical games. See the pictures below! Students across teams also were engaged in important learning this week!

Next week and continuing through October 10th, we have our team-building work with RippleEffect. Sixth grade students will participate in Deering Oaks park with their crew leaders and Ripple Effect facilitators for a half day on Oct. 4th.

Our 7th and 8th grade students will get to experience a full day of programming with Crew Leaders and RippleEffect Facilitators on Cow Island where they will complete team building challenges and low ropes courses. Here is the schedule:

Monday (10/2)- Monhegan Team - Grade 8
Tuesday (10/3) - Matinicus Team- Grade 8
Thursday (10/5) - Moosehad Team - Grade 7
Tuesday (10/10) - Kineo Team - Grade 7

Also, reminder there is no school on Friday, October 6th and Monday, October 9th (Indigenous Peoples Day)
