When some people think of sparks, they imagine the large, red-hot sparks of fire that ocurr when
a silversmith's hammer hits a metal object. But there are "sparks" in history; events that ignite fires of change.
Among the sparks that led to the American Revolution, are four related events that took place in Boston between 1770 - 1775: the Boston
Massacre, the death and funeral of Christopher Seider, the midnight
ride of Paul
Revere, and the Boston Tea Party.
The journals included here feature the stories of lives that were affected by and contributed to each of these sparks. Access the journals through their related sparks.
