Four Freedoms is a York 8 language arts and social studies learning expedition at King Middle School that asks the guiding question:

How do ideas of freedom change over time?

How do some freedoms conflict with others?

In this expedition, students confront complex and controversial ideas and are challenged to explore and develop their personal beliefs around freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from fear and freedom from want.
