Product Design

The design of the product should emphasize the most appropriate and sophisticated way to represent the knowledge that we want our students to learn.  In fact, the design should match the design of the field of knowledge that we are asking out students to learn.

We began exploring product design by looking at Fading Footprints and constructing our own maps of the cd architecture.

Several groups commented on the benefits of learning by design in this way.   We all thought our students would benefit greatly from the design process.

Then Scott and Dave introduced us to the design for the summit's CD.  It was like this:
