The circle of life is
a very simple process in which animals die, decompose and then become
the soil in which plants grow. Then a new animal eats that plant.
It is a cycle in
which energy circulates. One animal eats an animal and absorbs its energy.
All this energy comes from the sun. If there was no sun, no living
creature would survive. It's really the circle of energy, but in a way, energy
= life! That is why they call it the "Circle of Life". This relates
to endangerment because all animals eat each
other in some way or another. If one animal becomes extinct then it
affects the whole circle, because once the circle is broken then it
ends up like a chain reaction. When a certain animal population
disappears it affects all of the other animals.
And so on and so
forth, like a circle.
Below you can see examples of the circle of life. Eventually,
that baby will become an old man and the chicken might get cooked and
eaten. That goat will eventually die and get eaten by another creature."We
are all connected in the great circle of life".
