iMovie Workshop


How might you use video to improve teaching and learning in your classroom? What resources would you need to develop to bring video editing to your students?



Goals:
1. Learn the basic editing features of iMovie.
2. Learn how to import video clips into iMovie
3. Learn about firewire storage.


Time: 120 minutes

Description of Activity:
1. Materials: ibooks, journal, iMovie handouts, iMovie Resources, pen or pencil, video cameras and accessories.
2. Begin the iMovieTutorial on your computer.  Use the resource iMovie Editing Guide to answer simple questions.
3. Learn to import video into iMovie.
4. Review Saving Movies to Sorenson.
5. Review Sharing with Google Video.

5. Introduction to firewire storage.
