Portland Trail
To kick off our
expedition we took a trip to the Boston Freedom Trail in Massachusetts.
We then went on our own "Portland Trail," by visiting certain
historical sites in Portland. After learning about and becoming
familiar with these sites, we started a research project on Portland's
history. One person from every class was assigned to the same site and
these kids became a group that later combined their information to make
the final research project. The sites we have researched create the
