ECOLOGY
                                   
Ecology: The relations of organisms to one another and to their physical surroundings.

Ecosystem: A biological community of interactting organisms and their physical environment.

Symbiosis- a close relationship between two organisms that live together.

Mutualism -it is a type of symbiotic realtionship in which both organisms benefit.

Parasitim -is a type of symbiotic relationship where another organism is harmed.  

Commensalism is a type of symbiotic relationship in which one organism benefits and  the other organism is not affected.

It is important to have many species of animals in an area and not just a few because when you eat some of them they get less so it is better to have many.

Definitions-
Community-all populations of different species that live in an ecosystem
Population-all the organisms that belong to same species living in a community
Habitat-place where an organism lives and provides
Consumers-organisms that can't make thier own food
Producer-organism, such as green plant or algae that uses an outside source of energy like the sun.
Predator-is  an animal that preys on others.
Prey-is an animal that is hunted and killed by another for food
