HUNTING

~People are against hunting for the following reasons:

~When a hunter kills an animal for fun, that is completely inhumane, and to think that someone who is also an animal would kill, not for food but as a hobby, sport, and or just for that prized set of antlers is doing it for their own enjoyment sickens me.  Who could do that?

~Hunting is wrong because for no good reason it violates the most basic right of any living creature the right to life. According to hunters, they only shoot animals who are surplus or excessive to the carrying capacity of the land or who are old or injured . They claim that their killing is done for humane and practical reasons, and that an untimely death by bullet or arrow is preferable to death from natural causes.

~If a person kills an animal in the wilderness just to prove to someone that they can kill, it is completely wrong.  That person is just trying to make a point, they have no use for the meat, hide, and antlers, they just want to fit in.  That is murdering a living being, and as it states in the 10 Commandments Thou Shalt not Kill.

~The animals the hunters kill can't protect themselves against our modern weapons, and of course when we kill these animals we could easily be killing their offspring (A bear could be out looking for food for her cubs, and get shot, her cubs couldn't survive all alone).

~Animals deserve rights, after all, we are a type of animal and we have human rights, why are we being hypocrites and killing things that had a life before we came along to shoot them.

~To think that we actually enjoy making an animal go through anguish, pain, and death, just so we can eat, make money, and have fun is sick.  We can all become vegetarians, or vegans.

~Hunters don't always follow the rules, we have endangered many animals, and even caused some to become extinct because we wanted to have fun or eat more meat, where we could eat veggies, and have fun in other ways.

~Over hunting has brought numerous species to the brink of
extinction. The West Indian manatee,  the dugong, and many species of pheasants have become endangered because people have hunted them for food and trophies. Many species are killed by people who believe that the animals threaten their livelihoods. Livestock owners, for example, may shoot, trap, or poison wild animals that they consider a danger to their herds. Farmers and ranchers in North America have nearly eliminated the red wolf and many species of prairie dogs, while herders in Africa have almost wiped out the simian wolf.

~Hunting may be fun for us, or it may be a great family tradition, or even a new one just waiting to happen but, if we don't hunt we could save so many species of animals, and learn more and more about them.

~Why would someone want to kill something? I mean sure food, but their are other options than killing.

~If people claim hunting is just pest control, why don't we just ship the animals that are “over populating” an area, to a new area where there  aren't as many of these species.

~Do you see anyone coming into  our space and killing us to control our population? NO! Before we decide to cut down more forests and make condos and other developments and than start complaining about animals and saying that they need to be controlled, how about we think about controlling our own population.  We are the ones with the problem, we invade the animals space and expect them to leave willingly.  If we want the animal population under control, we should learn how to control our own population before worrying about theirs.  Once we get our population at a stable rate the animal population won't be a problem because we won't need anymore space so we won't be crossing into their homes.

WHO WOULD PAY????-
People who support the banning of hunting all together would.  Even if we have to raise taxes just a little bit it would be for the best, and we would have extra money from not building more homes, and public services.  If worse comes to worse we could shut down every hospital there is and let us fend for ourselves.  After all since the start of  hospitals and modern medicine practices the human population has increased by huge numbers.  There are plenty of supporters of animal rights and BAN hunting groups, so if you feel the same way, how about you get involved and help by giving donations to these non-profit oorganizations

How could anyone hunt baby cubs?

LAST WORD-
As a conclusion, hunting may be a way of life, but how could you kill something? How can humans be such hypocrites? We give ourselves rights and kill animals of which we are family members with.  There are so many excuses that go along with hunting, many of which I stated above, but even if hunting is just pest control and we are trying to keep their population at a healthy rate, why don't we think about limiting our population.  We are the problem, not the animals, if we had a stable population we wouldn't be invading their territory, and we wouldn't be making them go find new homes, and we wouldn't be cutting down forests for more wood.  We need to confront our problem, because sooner or later it'll be too big to handle.
