Food Chain
Food Chain -
A series of organisms who depend on the next source of food.
Food Web -
A system interlocking food chains. It shows many more different things
that the organisms
might eat. Like instead of showing that the pheasant only eats grass in
a food chain, you can see that
it eats other things like berries.
Food chains and food webs are very important because it keeps a cycle
of life going. There needs to be predator and prey.
This is an energy pyramid. It shows that the plants and shrubs are giving
energy to the giraffes, then the giraffes to the lions.
