This is an example of a simple Food Chain.

As you can see above, the food chain starts out with a grasshopper. The grasshopper gets eaten by a frog. The snake then eats the frog, and the hawk then eats the snake. Usually food chains starts with plants, but in this case I'll just show something basic.

This is an example of a Food Web.  


This food web is made by simple little food chains. They are put together to make the food web. It  may look a little confusing, but if you focus on the picture you'll realize how it was put together.
Food Chain is the flow of energy from one organism to the next. It basically shows "who eats what". If you were to see a food chain including a frog, the frog will probably be eaten by spiders, water bugs, etc. And the frogs will probably be eating insects.
Food Webs are food chains that
are put together to form the food web.
