An endangered animal is an animal that is almost extinct, or there aren't many of that species left. Some reasons an  animal may become endangered are being hunted, trapped, destruction of their ecosystem, disease, pollution, insecticides/pesticides and un-natural predators.

          Most endangered animals are placed in National Parks, Nature reserves and Wilderness exhibits where they can live without too much interference from humans.
