Hunting: The activity of hunting wild animals or game, especially for food or sport.

Hunting is wrong Hunting is a violent and dangerous thing called  a sport. It violates animals rights and promotes violence for the kids of America. Animals are defenseless and did nothing wrong to be hunted. Animals can't control who they are, just as much as humans can't. Animals were here first so it is rightfully their land that we are taking over. Some other concerns are how some hunters trespass, litter, dispose of killed animals inappropriately, and how hunters behave in public are other problems.  Hunting/trapping is also very dangerous. Endangered species, pets, or children can get caught in the traps and if the hunters aim is off it can kill anything in its perimeter. Hunting is just plain out barbaric and is not necessary in modern day life.

Hunting is right Hunting is right because, it's just animals. The animals that people hunt are usually edible and can be served as a meal. People hunt to feed their families and because hunting is good for the ecosystem. It's not wrong because animals eat each other, so we can too. The money from hunting licenses goes to the state government, which funds education and public safety. Hunting controls the animal population also. A certain amount of animals need to be harvested each year to maintain a healthy environment. By harvesting that certain amount of  animals in a species it decreases competition. Hunting is also traditional, our parents did it, and their parents and so on, so why can't we?

My Opinion   In my opinion hunting is very wrong. Animals have feelings and lives just like humans do. How would you like it if an animal came into your house [habitat] and killed you. That is just like what we are doing to animals. Animal's are defenseless compared to our guns and traps. People think it is awful if humans are killed but couldn't care less that many animals are slaughtered every day.  Sure some people will say we need to control the animal population, but what about the human population? We are taking their land and making it not commercial areas, forcing animals to evacuate. Humans are overpopulated, we need to control the human population. How would you like it if the government gave out licenses to go and kill people. We would have to live in fear that some random person could shoot us, and it would be totally legal. The money from hunting licenses supposedly go to the state, but is that for sure? Hunting gives people a sense of superiority, something that humans already have way too much of.
