The Gray Tree Frogs eat crickets,
fly's, moths, spiders, snails, and other small insects. Gray Tree Frogs
favorite things to eat are small soft bodied insects. Gray Tree Frogs are eaten by all kinds of snakes, bull frogs, birds, green frogs, and small mammals. Gray Tree Frogs are omnivores because they eat insects which have meat in them. Gray Tree Frogs also eat algae in their pond when there tadpoles sense they cant go on land yet. Gray Tree Frogs blend in with their background when they hunt because they don't want their pray to see it and they don't want any predators to eat it when its trying to eat its prey. When Gray Tree Frogs are in their larval stage they are eaten by tiger salamander and fish. The way Gray Tree Frogs get eaten by other frogs is by getting stalked when calling females to breed. |
