A symbiotic relationship is when both living things depend on each other for survival. Like one symbiotic realationship is the clown fish and the sea anemone.  The sea anemone waits for a fish to swim by,  stings it with their tentacles, then the stunned fish is then pulled into the sea anemone's hidden mouth. The clown fish's body is covered by a thick layer of mucus. The mucus protects the clown fish so it won't get stung.  The clown fish helps the sea anemone by bringing in food (other fish) to it and the sea anemone protects the clown fish by giving it a place to live.

Biotic is a living thing in an  ecosystem. An animal is a living thing in a ecosystem, as are trees. Abiotic is the non-living things in an  ecosystem, like dirt, water, and air. Say if the dirt was not fertilized the grass would not grow. If there was no water then the living things would get dehydrated.

Ecology: Ecology is  the branch of biology  that deals with the relations of organisms to one another and to their physical surroundings. Ecosysytem: An ecosysytem is a biological community of interacting organisms and their physical environment. Limiting Factors: Competition limits the size of the population. When the same species are going after the same food, water and living space, there will be competition. Some might be taking the others food not letting them have enough also taking their water and living space. Soon enough some of that species will have to leave in order to have food. How animals relate to each other: Animals relate to each other by doing certain things like a mother bird would pretend to act like she has a broken wing to get a predator to follow her away from the nest to protect her young. Then when she's far enough away from the nest she will fly away.
