Omnivore- is a biotic thing that eats plants and meat. Carnivore- is a biotic thing that eats meat only. Consumer- is a biotic thing that eats producers to get energy. Predator and Prey: Anything that is a predator can be a prey stay and anything that is a Prey can be a predator.  Like the fisher is a predator to a Porcupine but a prey to Hawks.
