The Beaver and The Ecosystem!

Ecology is the study of organisms and the relationships with their surroundings.  All of these organisms live in an ecosystem. An ecosystem is a group of organisms in an area that interact with another, and together with their non living environment.  These living and non living things have certain names. One is an Biotic factor. Biotic factors are the non living things in an ecosystem. The other is a biotic factor. Biotic factors are the living things in the ecosystem.
The beavers mainly live on rivers, ponds, and swampy lands, they also lives on streams.
The beaver has a high population. A population is all the individuals of one species in a given area. With a population there are limiting factors. A limiting factor is anything that restricts the number of individuals in a population. That is how limiting factor and population are connected. There are many things that can limit a population on of them is competition. Now this is not competing for sports. This is competing for everything, space, food, water. This competition can limit the population by animals getting killed or leaving the community. A community is a place where a group of organisms living in one place. A community is much different. You see in a population there is only one species. But a community have many, many species living there.
The beaver has  Symbioticfactors. A symbiotic factor are Mutualism, Commensalism, and Parasitism. Communalism is when one organism benefits and nothing happens to the other. Parasitism is when on organism benefits and the other organism in harmed. Last but not least is Mutualism that is when both organisms benefit.
